Victoria Maryann is a painter born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, currently based in southern New Hampshire. From an early age, she has pursued drawing, painting, and music as sustained forms of artistic practice.

Working primarily in oil, her practice is guided by process and automatism, building up and wearing down surfaces through layering, abrasion, and reduction. Lines and forms emerge organically, tracing moments of change and impermanence without resolving into narrative, while fragments of the figure occasionally surface before receding into the abstracted field.

Her work is inspired by decay, time, and transformation, attempting to capture ephemeral states between emergence and erosion.
